Explora Journeys has added Sisley Paris as a wellness partner aboard Explora III. It is the French cosmetics house’s first wellness offering at sea.

What’s on board

  • A dedicated Sisley treatment suite inside Ocean Wellness – The Spa, with specially trained therapists.
  • Sisley Signature Facial: 60 or 90 minutes, a massage ritual that works each facial muscle.
  • Sisley Black Rose Facial: 90 minutes, rose-scented.
  • Retail: Sisley skincare, Hair Rituel by Sisley, fragrance and make-up in the spa boutique.

Sisley joins Explora’s existing spa partners Dr. Levy Switzerland, Aromatherapy Associates and Subtle Energies. The partnership extends to Explora I and Explora II in 2027.

“As two family-owned brands, there is also a natural alignment in the way we think about craftsmanship, longevity and attention to detail,” said Anna Nash, president of Explora Journeys.

What the Sisley treatments involve

According to Explora’s October 2026 release, there are two Sisley facials on the menu. The Sisley Signature Facial runs 60 or 90 minutes. It is a massage-led treatment that works each facial muscle in turn, and the release promises an immediate lift. The Sisley Black Rose Facial runs 90 minutes and is built around a rose-scented ritual meant to relax the face and bring back radiance.

Both take place in a dedicated Sisley treatment suite inside Ocean Wellness – The Spa. Explora has not published prices for either facial.

The spa around it

Explora rebuilt Ocean Wellness on EXPLORA III so that the spa, fitness centre and studio share one connected area on Deck 5. Its EXPLORA III wellness page lists Technogym equipment, Technogym Pilates reformers, a private training studio, a sports court for padel, pickleball and basketball, and an open-air running track. The Sava Sound Pod, a sound-based relaxation experience, is only on this ship.

Explora’s spa page lists a thermal area with a steam room, Finnish sauna, hydrotherapy pool, salt cave, experience shower, ice fall and heated marble loungers. It also lists 11 treatment rooms, including two Private Spa Suites with their own outdoor areas.

What’s included, and what isn’t

Explora’s fare inclusions cover access to the thermal area and group wellness, fitness and mindfulness classes for every guest, along with drinks, Wi-Fi and onboard gratuities. Spa treatments, including the Sisley facials, are not on that list. Some higher suite categories include a complimentary treatment and priority thermal access, so check what your suite comes with.

Access rules are worth knowing before you book. Thermal facilities are for guests 16 and over, and treatments for 12 and over. On sea days, guests without a treatment that day can use the thermal area from 8:00 to 10:00 and 18:30 to 20:00. Guests with a treatment booked that day can use it from 8:00 to 20:00, and everyone can on port days.

Planning a trip

Where EXPLORA III is this winter: The ship sailed from Québec City on 15 October 2026 for San Juan, Puerto Rico. It is spending October 2026 to April 2027 in the Caribbean and Central America, sailing between Miami and San Juan, according to Explora’s Caribbean season release. Ports include Saint Barthélemy, Antigua, Saint Lucia, Grenada and Anguilla. EXPLORA III guests can watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks over San Juan. In May 2027, the ship moves through the Panama Canal to the Pacific coast of Central and North America.

How to book treatments: Explora says spa treatments can be booked up to 90 days before departure.

We covered the ship’s first North American call in Explora III Arrives in New York. If Anguilla is on your route, read Anguilla, Without the Crowds. Sisley is also on board with Singapore Airlines, in its new amenity kits.

Quick answers

Are Sisley facials included in the Explora fare? No. The fare includes thermal-area access and group classes, not individual treatments.

Which Explora ships have Sisley? EXPLORA III now. Explora says EXPLORA I and EXPLORA II follow in 2027.

How far ahead can I book? Up to 90 days before your journey.

For advisors

  • Book Sisley treatments for clients as soon as the 90-day window opens. One suite means limited slots.
  • Steer spa-focused clients toward itineraries with sea days, and explain the thermal-area hours on sea days.
  • For Canadian clients this winter, EXPLORA III’s Miami and San Juan departures are the easiest way to try the partnership.
  • Check suite-level inclusions. A higher category can add a complimentary treatment and priority thermal access.
