Hilton Takes Its Luxury Brands All-Inclusive
Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya and Conrad Tulum went all-inclusive on 1 October. From 10 January the Waldorf is adults-only, so check every family booking now.
Hilton has put two of its luxury brands into Mexico’s all-inclusive market in one move, and the more urgent part for advisors is the fine print. Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya and Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya became all-inclusive resorts on 1 October 2026. From 10 January 2027, the Waldorf becomes adults-only, open to registered guests aged 18 and over. Any family booked there for a January-or-later arrival needs a call this week.
Two resorts, two briefs
Hilton is positioning the pair as different products on the same coast rather than as twins. The company says the Waldorf is “best suited for adults seeking privacy, anticipatory service, chef-led dining and a more intimate oceanfront pace,” while the Conrad is “designed for travelers of every generation seeking discovery and culinary variety.”
Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya builds the stay around a personal concierge who handles dining, spa, transfers, excursions and celebrations before and during the visit. Dining runs through Malpeque (live-fire cooking, a Mexican cheese cart), Chaya, JA’O (agave and a margarita cart) and Peacock Alley, with a Mexican coffee concept, BonbonOm, listed as coming soon. The resort had already sold an optional all-inclusive package since May 2026; this makes the model standard.
Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya stays multi-generational, with the MYTHOS World kids’ club included. Its new Ceiba Club is an adults-only section inside the resort, with access to Ceiba Lounge, Carbon restaurant, pool and beach, and Autor, the contemporary Mexican restaurant Hilton describes as Michelin-recognized. Other venues include Maratea, Ukai, Kengai teppanyaki and two beach chiringuitos.
What’s included
At both resorts, Hilton lists 24-hour in-room dining and a minibar refreshed daily. Eligible transient stays of four consecutive nights or longer may include one resort experience or destination excursion per stay; at the Conrad, examples include a cenote experience at Vesica, a day at the Xel-Há park or a spa inclusion. Private round-trip airport transfers are included for “eligible direct bookings”: from Cancún for the Waldorf, and from Cancún or Tulum for the Conrad. That wording matters. Confirm whether transfers and the excursion credit apply to advisor bookings before quoting them.
“Today’s travelers want the freedom and ease of an All-Inclusive resort, paired with the distinctive depth, personalization and sense of place they expect from Hilton’s award-winning luxury brands,” said Sylvia Scholey, Hilton’s vice president and global head of All-Inclusive and Resorts.
Existing bookings
Hilton says existing reservations at both resorts will be honoured on the plan and terms confirmed at booking. The exception is the Waldorf: reservations that include guests under 18 arriving on or after 10 January 2027. For those, the company says the resort “will work with each guest to identify alternative accommodation options.”
For advisors
- Audit your book now. Any Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya booking with a child on it, arriving 10 January 2027 or later, will be relocated. Get ahead of it and steer the family to the Conrad, which keeps its kids’ club.
- Pitch the split. Couples and honeymooners go to the Waldorf. Multi-generational groups who want an adults-only enclave for the grown-ups go to the Conrad’s Ceiba Club.
- Check the inclusions on your channel. Transfers and some perks are tied to eligible direct bookings. Ask your Hilton contact what applies to trade bookings before you quote.
- Sell the four-night threshold. Stays of four nights or more may unlock an included experience or excursion; build itineraries to clear it.
