London to Prague, Overnight, on One Booking

European Sleeper now sells Eurostar connections from London to its Brussels night trains. A simpler sell for flight-free clients, but the connection is not guaranteed.

Clients who want to reach Berlin or Prague without flying no longer have to stitch the journey together themselves. European Sleeper, the Dutch-Belgian night-train operator, has launched a booking tool that sells Eurostar trains from London alongside its overnight services from Brussels, in one search. For UK holidaymakers who like the idea of a sleeper but balk at the logistics, it removes the main obstacle. For advisors, it is a cleaner product to quote, with one important caveat.

What you can book

London is the first city connected. From the European Sleeper site, travellers can now search London to Berlin, Prague, Milan, Lake Como, Dresden and Hamburg, with the Eurostar leg to Brussels and the night train onwards. The operator says more connected cities will follow, without giving dates.

The connections are sold with Choo-Choo, a Dutch specialist in international rail connections and cross-border ticketing, which handles customer support for the connecting legs before, during and after travel. Support runs 09:00 to 20:00 CET, every day of the year, according to European Sleeper. The company says Eurostar services were picked for “carefully chosen transfer times” in Brussels.

The network behind it

European Sleeper has grown quickly. Its original route runs from Brussels through Antwerp, Rotterdam and Amsterdam to Berlin, Dresden and Prague. It added a Paris–Brussels–Berlin service in March 2026, and a Brussels–Cologne–Zürich–Milan night train from 9 September 2026, with Breda and Eindhoven to be added to the Milan route from December, according to its press releases.

On the Prague route, the rail guide The Man in Seat 61 lists a 19:22 departure from Brussels Midi, arriving in Berlin at 06:07 and Prague at 10:51, with a recommended 13:01 Eurostar from St Pancras to connect. It also notes the sleeper is sometimes retimed, so schedules should be checked at booking. Cabins range from seats to couchettes and private sleeping-car compartments with a washbasin and breakfast box.

The catch

These are separate tickets combined, not a through ticket. European Sleeper’s own terms say connections are not guaranteed: the passenger is responsible for making the onward train, the night train will not wait for a late Eurostar, and replacement tickets are not automatically provided if a delay causes a missed connection. “Additional costs may apply” for rebooking, the company says. Eurostar changes are made through Eurostar’s own Manage Your Booking service.

That matters most on the outbound leg, where a late Eurostar could mean a missed overnight departure and a night in Brussels.

For advisors

  • Who to pitch: flight-free and slow-travel clients, couples on a city break to Berlin or Prague, and lakes clients heading to Como who would rather wake up in Italy than fly into Milan.
  • Build in buffer: book the earliest sensible Eurostar, and price a flexible Eurostar fare or a Brussels hotel fallback for clients who cannot afford a missed connection. Travel insurance should cover missed connections on separate tickets.
  • Upsell the cabin: a private sleeping-car compartment is the product most clients picture; seats and six-berth couchettes are the budget end.
  • Watch for: the next connected cities, which European Sleeper says are coming.
