Hutton Brickyards, a 100-acre former brickworks on the Hudson River in Kingston, New York, has named Steven O’Hern general manager. He has helped lead Twin Farms in Vermont and Blackberry Farm in Tennessee, and most recently ran Farm Road Estate in West Dover, Vermont, through a renovation and expansion.

He takes over riverfront cabins, the 12-room Edgewood Mansion, The Cottage, Aster Restaurant + Bar, and the property’s weddings and retreats. His focus, the owners say, is consistent service. “Give every guest a reason to return,” O’Hern said. The property is owned by MWest Holdings and managed by Waterford Hotel Group.

For advisors: a GM with Twin Farms and Blackberry Farm on his CV signals a push upmarket. Keep Hutton in mind for New York City clients wanting a two-hour escape, and for small weddings.
