The Hotel TV Learns Why You’re There

Hypersign's InRoom Guest themes the hotel TV around why each guest is staying, from a wedding to a conference, and sells local ads alongside.

Hypersign.com has launched InRoom Guest, a hotel TV platform that changes what a guest sees based on why they are staying. Wedding guests get schedules and welcome messages; conference attendees get agendas and nearby dining; families get activities; sports fans get local restaurants and stores.

Guests can cast securely from iOS and Android by QR code, with no password on the shared TV, and casting cuts off at checkout. It works with Apple, Google and LG technology and carries more than 450 live channels. A patent-pending AdEngine lets hotels promote their own spa, dining and upgrades alongside paid content from local businesses and tourism partners, with proof-of-play reporting.

“Every one of us has stayed in a room with a TV that’s completely disconnected from why we’re there,” said Neil Willis, founder and CEO. The platform debuted at BITAC Independent 2026 and is available now.

For advisors: for wedding and incentive groups, ask whether a hotel can theme rooms like this. It is an easy way to get the schedule in front of every guest.
