Crystal Serenity Gets an Owner’s Suite
Crystal Serenity adds a 1,722 sq ft two-bedroom Owner's Suite and four Junior Penthouse Premium Suites after a 2028 dry dock. They sail from 5 May 2028.
Crystal is adding its biggest accommodation to an existing ship. Following a dry dock in 2028, Crystal Serenity will debut a new Crystal Owner’s Suite and four Junior Penthouse Premium Suites, all midship on Deck 11, the line announced on 5 October. The new suites are available from 5 May 2028.
For advisors with top-tier Crystal clients, that is a new trophy category to hold, and an early one to sell.
The Owner’s Suite
There will be one. It measures 1,722 sq ft inside with a 409 sq ft veranda and has two bedrooms. According to Crystal:
- Interior design was led by naval architect Paolo Piccione, with wooden floors, custom wool carpets and handcrafted cabinetry.
- The living room has a library and a fireplace. The dining area has ocean views, a butler’s pantry and a personalized bar.
- A hi-fi system allows music to be controlled by zone.
- The main bedroom has a king bed and two walk-in closets; the main bathroom is marble-lined with a Jacuzzi.
- A second bedroom, with its own walk-in closet and bathroom, is pitched at family members travelling together.
- Technogym equipment, with personalized coaching, is set up facing the ocean.
Four new Junior Penthouses
The four Junior Penthouse Premium Suites each have 861 sq ft inside and a 205 sq ft veranda. Crystal says their layouts take inspiration from the Junior Penthouse accommodation on Crystal Symphony, and they join six existing Junior Penthouse Deluxe Suites on Serenity.
“We are continuing to thoughtfully evolve Crystal Serenity while preserving the character and sense of ease that have made her so beloved by our guests,” said Bernie Leypold, Crystal’s senior vice-president of hotel operations.
The bigger picture
This is the second Owner’s Suite Crystal has announced this year. In January it unveiled its first, aboard the newbuild Crystal Grace, due for delivery in 2028. Adding the category to Serenity gives the fleet more than one top suite to sell, and gives repeat Serenity guests a reason to stay with the ship they know.
Crystal did not publish pricing or say when the new suites open for sale.
For advisors
- Who to pitch: multi-generational families and couples travelling with friends who want two private bedrooms with one shared living space; long-voyage clients who treat the ship as a residence.
- When: register interest with your Crystal BDM now. With a single Owner’s Suite, the first sailings from May 2028 will go to whoever gets the earliest holds.
- What to book: the Junior Penthouse Premium Suites are the more realistic upsell for clients currently in Penthouse categories.
- Watch: pricing, the opening-for-sale date and which itineraries Serenity sails from May 2028.
