Toronto District School Board (largest board) hasn't published its 2027-28 calendar yet. We don't guess: the dates go up here, and into the calendar feed, as soon as they are official.

Dates are inclusive school days off, Monday to Friday. Individual schools can add closure days of their own (training days, PA days, inset days), so check with your school before you book anything non-refundable.

  • Every Ontario public board shares March Break (15 to 19 March 2027), so Toronto-origin demand for Florida, the Caribbean and ski resorts concentrates into a single week.
  • Easter Monday and the August Civic Holiday (2 August 2027) are not Ontario statutory holidays, though many employers and schools observe them; TDSB closes on Easter Monday.
  • Ontario school years run late: TDSB elementary classes end 29 June 2027, so family summer travel from Toronto rarely starts before Canada Day.
