Pendry Nashville
Pendry Nashville is the Montage-owned brand’s first Tennessee hotel: a 30-storey hotel and residences tower in Paseo South Gulch, a new mixed-use district by developer SomeraRoad on the edge of the Gulch. It brings Pendry’s polished, social style to one of America’s busiest weekend cities.
The building and design
Nashville firm ESa (Earl Swensson Associates) is the architect, with New York studio Post Company on interiors. The hotel occupies the lower part of the tower, with 146 Pendry Residences, from one to four bedrooms plus penthouses, on the upper floors. SomeraRoad and Trestle Studio are development partners, with JE Dunn and Clark Construction also involved.
Rooms, food and drink
The hotel has 180 rooms and suites. Announced public spaces include:
- A ground-floor restaurant and lobby bar
- A rooftop garden restaurant and bar with a pool for hotel guests
- A writer’s room and library that doubles as a meeting space
- Indoor and outdoor fitness centres
A spa has not been announced. Restaurant names and chefs are still to come.
What it means for advisors
Nashville runs on music, celebrations and conventions, and this is pitched at all three. The second floor holds about 10,000 sq ft of meeting and event space, including a ballroom with a private outdoor terrace and a junior ballroom with a show kitchen, which makes it a natural fit for weddings, milestone birthdays and incentive groups that want something more refined than the Broadway strip. The rooftop will be its calling card in the warmer months. For couples and small groups, it sits in a walkable, newer part of downtown rather than the honky-tonk core. Montage International manages the brand; there is no announced advisor programme specific to this property yet.
Opening status
The project was announced in March 2025 alongside a 253 million dollar construction loan, and Pendry announced the groundbreaking in July 2025. Both releases, and local coverage from spring 2026, give a 2027 opening without a month. Residence sales have been running since autumn 2025. A tower of this size breaking ground in mid-2025 for a 2027 debut is a tight schedule, so treat late 2027 as the realistic window until reservations open.
