Cabot Revelstoke Mountain Lodge
Cabot, the Canadian golf resort company behind Cabot Cape Breton, is building a 155-room lodge at the base of Mount Mackenzie in Revelstoke, BC, between the town and the Columbia River. It pairs a new 18-hole course with heli-ski check-in under the same roof, which makes it one of the few luxury properties in Canada built to sell summer golf and winter powder with equal conviction. Cabot set out the plans in May 2026 with its partner, Revelstoke Mountain Resort, owned by Northland Properties.
The setting
The main course is by Rod Whitman of Whitman, Axland & Cutten, an Alberta native, and follows the natural terrain of the Columbia River Valley with views to the Monashee and Selkirk ranges. It is enrolled in Audubon International’s Platinum Signature Sanctuary program. A second, more social layout, The Rail Yard, centres on a par-three short course and its own clubhouse. In winter the pitch changes: Revelstoke calls itself the heli-skiing capital of the world, and the lodge is set up for heli-ski check-in on site.
Rooms and suites
Cabot has confirmed 155 rooms but has not yet published room categories or sizes. Alongside the lodge, The Residences at Cabot Revelstoke are being sold as private homes, with residences designed by Hart Howerton and interiors by Studio K. The lodge itself is due to include:
- a steakhouse and bar, reported as a Chop Steakhouse & Bar location
- spa and wellness facilities with hot tubs and a sauna, plus a fitness centre
- more than 8,500 sq ft of meeting and event space
- dining at The Rail Yard clubhouse
What it means for advisors
This is a genuine four-season product for western Canada. Golf groups and corporate retreats suit the summer and shoulder months; serious skiers and heli-ski clients fill the winter. Revelstoke works as a stop between Banff and the Okanagan on a BC road trip, or as a standalone ski week. Cabot says stay-and-play packages should launch in late 2026, so this is the moment to get on the property’s trade radar. Cabot does not have a published advisor program at the time of writing.
Opening status
The lodge is scheduled for early 2027, with construction underway, according to Cabot’s May 2026 announcement. Limited preview golf is expected in fall 2026, with the course opening fully to the public in 2027. Coverage of the announcement also reported the steakhouse opening ahead of the lodge, in late 2026. No exact opening month has been given.
