Aman Beverly Hills
Aman Beverly Hills is the hotel at the centre of One Beverly Hills, a large development at the corner of Wilshire and Santa Monica boulevards. It will have 78 suites, a small number of private residences in their own towers, and the first standalone Aman Club, set in about eight acres of botanical gardens. Ground was broken in February 2024.
The building and design
Kerry Hill Architects, the firm behind Aman Tokyo, Aman Kyoto and Amanyangyun in Shanghai, is designing the hotel, club and residences as a single piece. The developers are Alagem Capital and Cain International. The gardens use native plants and water features, and roughly half the planted area is to be open to the public, which is unusual for a project at this level.
Wellness
The Aman Club is the headline. It is planned at about 100,000 sq ft and described as dedicated to wellness, the first fully self-contained club in Aman’s collection. Reports also mention:
- an Aman Spa, details still to come
- several restaurants and private dining spaces
- serviced residences with terraces and private pools
Aman has not yet published spa specifics or restaurant names.
What it means for advisors
Los Angeles has plenty of five-star hotels but no Aman, and 78 suites is a small number for a city of this size. Expect strong pull from Aman regulars, entertainment and business travellers, and clients pairing LA with Aman’s other US properties. With the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, demand that year will be intense, so advisors with interested clients should register interest early. Aman has not announced rates or how club membership will interact with hotel stays.
Opening status
When Aman revealed the design in 2024 it gave an opening of 2027. Aman’s own website now says the hotel will open in 2028, and travel press from 2025 and 2026 has followed that date. No month has been confirmed, and some coverage links the timing to the Olympics.
