Marriott Bonvoy hotels across Mexico and the Caribbean have finished, or are partway through, a round of renovations. For advisors, the list is a guide to which familiar names now feel new.

Finished

  • Marriott Isla Verde Beach Resort, Puerto Rico: a property-wide transformation with new rooms, public spaces and restaurants.
  • Courtyard by Marriott Mexico City Airport: renovated rooms and public areas, still linked to the main terminal.
  • Le Méridien Mexico City: renovated suites across the all-suite hotel on Paseo de la Reforma.
  • Cleviá, San Miguel de Allende, Autograph Collection: a new restaurant, ZUKKĀH Eastern Mediterranean Kitchen, with stone-oven breads and dishes to share.
  • Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort: JFK Steakhouse, beach dinners at Salty at the Beach, and a Friday Fire Pit Ritual inspired by Tambú music.

Under way

  • Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel & Casino: a modernization worth more than US$11 million, restoring the Teatro La Fiesta and adding padel courts, a wood-fired pizzeria, spa upgrades and La Galería, a retail and events space.
  • Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino: a new adults-only category with private plunge pools, gated terraces and Tradewinds Club access.
  • La Concha Resort, Puerto Rico, Autograph Collection: LUXE Azul Beach Club, due by the end of 2026, plus Art in Residence suites featuring Puerto Rican artists.
  • Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa: a multi-phase redo with swim-up rooms, an adults-only pool and more restaurants.
  • Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort: a beachfront restoration on Seven Mile Beach with chef’s table dinners and private beach events.

For advisors

  • Check dates: ask about construction before booking the hotels still mid-project, especially in high season.
  • The upsells: Aruba’s plunge-pool rooms and Puerto Vallarta’s swim-ups are the new premium categories to quote.
  • Loyalty clients: all are Marriott Bonvoy, so points-led clients get more choice of newly done rooms.
